Valves are the part that adjusts the passage of fluids, keeps them stretched with the spring and goes up and down. The valve in internal combustion engines regulates the passage of gas or liquid fuels in piping systems. Adjusts the fuel-air mixture in engines or just the air intake to the engine. The valves used in the automobiles control the fuel and air inlet and outlet of the engine with their commute movements. When the intake valve is opened, while the fuel-air mixture enters the engine cylinder, when the exhaust valve is opened, the exhaust gas formed after the fuel-air mixture burns out. When both valves are closed, the integrity of the cylinder is ensured and burning occurs.

Engine Valve

Rings are the basic elements that provide sealing while vacuum, compression, explosion and sweeping processes occur between the crankcase and the combustion chamber. In addition, it undertakes the task of transferring the high temperature caused by combustion to the cylinder and cooling water. The peak ring remains at an average temperature of 315 °C and under the influence of the highest gas pressure and undertakes the highest sealing function, followed by the middle groove ring, which is subjected to lower pressures. Oil rings, on the other hand, ensure that the excess oil remaining on the surface is stripped to the oil pan and a thin lubrication layer remains on the surface. Thus, excessive oil entering and burning of oil in the combustion chamber is prevented.

Piston Ring

Today, Yenmak manufactures dry and wet engine cylinder liners for water and air-cooled, gasoline and diesel engines by capturing the most sensitive tolerance limits between 55 mm and 185 mm in diameter. Yenmak has managed to adapt to all liners produced by providing the ideal solution in terms of wear, working life and thermal diffusion to cylinder liners.

YENMAK has been carrying out its annual manufacture of 1.5 million pieces of engine liners and 1 million pieces of pistons and pins in Turkey since 1966, utilizing advanced technology, high-quality controlling devices and the consciousness of respect to environment.

Yenmak is marketing 38% of its production in internal market to official institutions and spare parts market and marketing 62% of its production to 94 countries, essentially Germany, France and USA as OEM and spare parts.</p>
